Our vision is for an inclusive, vibrant and connected community hub and to provide opportunities for all people to participate, learn and grow.
At the heart of Epsom, Epsom Community Centre offers a diverse range of community classes and workshops, vibrant cultural events, and flexible venue hire options. Our on-site community garden is open to the public and hosts organic gardening courses for all skill levels.
The centre is proudly located in the iconic stone buildings on Gillies Avenue, in the heart of Epsom.
Epsom Community Centre is proudly managed by The Village Square Trust
The Village Square is a non-profit community services provider with more than 40 years' experience in bringing people in our community together.
Our mission is to build strong, connected local communities by giving people places to meet, learn, create and grow.
Formerly known as “Parnell Community Trust”, The Village Square Trust underwent a name change and rebranding in May 2021.
We manage Epsom Community Centre and Parnell Community Centre on behalf of Auckland Council and provide a range of services to people of all ages

Epsom Community Centre is committed to supporting community‑led initiatives that strengthen connection, inclusion, and local participation. We do this by helping people network to form groups for social activity or action, and by providing, within Epsom Community Centre, a place where groups can come together.
We often participate in or help promote community events in collaboration with local groups. Through partnerships and hands‑on involvement, we aim to amplify community voices, celebrate local diversity, and contribute to a vibrant, connected neighbourhood.
